A Return to Self

Updated: Jun 6

Today I pause here.

Not to measure progress,

but to witness truth.

A subtle shift has taken place within me—

quiet, yet profound,

felt before the mind gives it shape,

a gentle unfolding my soul already knows.

This moment holds more than it seems.

Not because of how far I’ve come,

but because I stayed.

I listened.

I chose presence

over resistance.

To acknowledge this milestone

is an act of love.

It tells my heart it is safe to open.

My body can rest.

What is felt within is trusted.

Every step is worthy of celebration—

the courageous leaps

and the gentle returns.

Growth does not need to be loud

to be real.

In recognizing what has unfolded,

I soften into gratitude

through reverence,

allowing what is true

to be enough.

This is how growth deepens.

What is gently seen begins to settle.

What settles begins to live more fully within me.

And in this pause, I receive a quiet truth:

there is wisdom in choosing this path of awareness,

in choosing to return to myself

again and again.

Here, strength and softness coexist.

Clear intention and open-hearted grace

move together within me.

This is balance.

This is wholeness.

I acknowledge what is here.

I welcome the self I am returning to—

with devotion,

with gratitude,

with presence.

And I let everything else fall away.

What remains is quiet love.
